Publisher's description
From Newbie Labs :Newbie is an acronym for Network Enabled Web Browser Interface. It is designed to allow users to manipulate Web pages by customizing Newbie scripts. These scripts allow the user to automate Web page navigation by form filling Web pages for you, so you can control how you use a Web site. It also manages usernames and passwords to commonly visited sites that require user authentication
Version 1.5a now includes functions to allow data extraction from Web sites and saving to a file for manipulation such as search results from Yahoo and Google to an Excel file, and downloading URL files. You can also use it as a Website testing tool that repeatedly tests web pages and logs Web page performance, run scripts on the commandline and schedule script execution using Windows Scheduled Tasks program. Newbie comes with an Editor and Pascal Compiler. All information the user provides is encrypted on the local PC using Blowfish Encryption.

Version: Newbie Web Automation 1.5a
Pros: Free version is functional and doesn't expire or require you to register before using like other freeware/sharewares out there. No irritating popups or nag screens. Sample script allowed me to login to my Yahoo mail account. Also allowed me to make minor changes on the scripts but since I lacked the pascal language knowledge I couldn't get very far. Tech support was helpful in helping me create a script to log into my Verizon website account.
Cons: The documentation for version 1.5 is in HTML and difficult to follow. There is a PDF for the version 2.0 which I relied on.
