  "You were the best Netscape"

  Version: Netscape X 9.0.0.6

  Pros

  What I really like is that it still runs on Mac OS 10.2.

  Cons

  Version 9.0.0.6 routinely ask you to switch to Firefox or Flock. That is why I suggest using version 9.0.0.5 instead. Also quite a few pages are not rendered correctly. This will only continue to increase in the future.

  Summary

  I remember going online for the first time back in 1997. It was on a LC II running Netscape 2 in my High School's computer lab. Since then I have mostly used Netscape. I continued using it even after it had lost the browser wars of the 90's to Internet Explorer. If you need a browser for an older operating system, then Netscape is a good choice. Rest in peace Netscape.
