Version: Nethack 3.4.3
"OK for Training up for the PPC version"
Pros: Good training for the also free and relatively lovely Pocket PC WM6 version. (nethack.org) So that you can underatnd what's going on when you play that.
Cons: I agree with Spooky. This has had its time on the big screen.

"The time for this game has passed"
Cons: I am all for gaming nostalgia, and frequently play classic games, but this is taking it a little to far for my tastes. This is one piece of gaming history I would rather forget.

Pros: its playable.
Cons: to oldschool for me, but its not totaly worthless.
