"Amazing centralized user monitoring"

Pros
I relish the ability to be able to see all the screens of the computers on my network at any time I want, along with being able to track what my users are doing. Realtime behavior alerts are a bonus!
Cons
Antivirus configuration took a bit of time.
Summary
This is an amazing product and doesn't seem to slow the network down at all. It does exactly what I needed it to do. I did have some difficulty getting it to run properly with Norton 360, but tech support always answered my emails to help me troubleshoot and even offered to remote into my machines twice to get it up and running smoothly for me. It wasn't necessary in the end, though!

The concept of this software is great, and would GREATLY benefit my company.
Cons
Files aren't where they say they install to, you'll have to hunt for them. The default hotkeys don't work making after-install functions a pain. Basically everything, you have to have an admin account on the PC's you want to monitor, so if it didn't have one yesterday, and now there's an extra account... Users aren't that dumb.
Summary
However after installing and following SpyTech's install guide several times, I gave up. Once the .zip file was downloaded and extracted I unblocked it (XP), ran the client installer, nothing. Tried the hotkeys, nothing. I went back through 3 different sources' install "How-to's" for this program, none offered successful results. Bottom line, I'm quite tech savvy, I spend a lot of time working with networks and computers in general, but this software was unorganized and unusable. If you don't mind a few hours of trial and error, by all means waste your time. Needs to be user friendly (since it is described as such).

"Well Worth It."

We just finished installing NetVizor for our client and after seeing the results they were so happy that the supervisor exclaimed "this alone is worth the $6000 (referring to our contract)! We got to be heroes today! Thanks Spytech!. Great product!

"horrible tech support and software function"

very little it does have some nice features but the software is flaky

the worst technical support you cannot ever get in contact with a person you must use basically a email request to get help which in may cases requires hours and even days for a reponse. usually the response is not helpful.
Summary
poor performance, locks up computers it is installed on. is not in a true stealth mode any ant-virus or spyware software will catch it and notify of it's use. it took one our employees less than 10 minutes to disable the product and did not even know what it was. horrible in a workgroup enviroment will not write log files properly in a central location and tech support cannot explain it. if you remove a laptop from the office with log locations on in-house server the computer will experience mutliple problems. if you need help with anything the tech support is horrible.

downloading trial was a problem, had to disable antivirus software. then just to get it up and running i had to be emailing back and forth to Support. had to Install Client manually which meant waiting till all workstaions where unoccupied. did this overnight, and guess what happens. following morning all the Workstaions have a pop up saying netvisor was there and all that it is for. Very emabrassing to say the least. Ctrl, alt, shift M to get to settings was a problem, because the first time it gives you an option to change that sequence and then thats it. cant access again. the program also very much acts like a spyare and locks up machine and has it running very slowly. Although tech support was very helpful I eventually gave up.

Try to install it: Server and on workstation, avast anti virus on server get mad... client computer with F-Secure, never managed to get it work. Disabled antivirus and reinstalled many times, one hole day..... and no success.

I may not run my own company, but my house has 17 computers hooked up into a network. Mostly my brothers and sisters, Mom and Dad. But we also rent to a few of my college buddies as well.
Being able to check out our network was important. I need to see whats going on and if it needs repairing or tweeking. Not only that, but my little brother is always trying to hack his way into seeing a nude body or two (Little turkey!)
Being able to monitor his connection and cut him off has been well done, thanks to this program. Perhaps one day if I should follow my dreams for my own PC company - I might find more uses for this. But for now, it does well with what I need it for.

First off, let me say that NetVizor has been a wonderful piece of software. In the few days the small business I work for has had it in place on a few select PCs, we've monitored several incidents of users installing (or trying to install) unauthorized software on our business PCs.
