Publisher's description

From Ilja Herlein :

NetSetMan is a network settings manager which can easily switch between 6 different profiles including IP address, subnet mask, default gateway, DNS server, Win server, computer name, printer, DNS domain, workgroup, and scripts. It also can get current settings and do a FastSwitch from the tray bar. With only two mouse clicks you can activate a saved profile and it is easy to use and very powerful.

    Version: NetSetMan 2.6.1

"Great software that makes networking so much easier"

    by Zizzy86 on September 1, 2009

Pros: Allows to set multiple sets of settings. Allows to set DNS while getting an automatic IP (windows doesn't let you). Works quickly and shows clearly. The status box is really helpful. Free not even a trial completely free.

Cons: When you hit refresh it automatically switches between wired and wireless back to wired. Also, it doesn't switch the presaved windows settings back to what they were when you switch off it such as to switch back to automatic.

Summary: Great product. I recommend anyone that is using multiple networks and has to manually set the ip settings to get this. And of course it is free for individuals use.
