Publisher's description

From Ortabe :

If you can use the Finder you can use NetFinder.

NetFinder is an easy-to-use file management and automation tool for remote servers and local files. It supports easy renaming, copying, moving, deleting, duplicating, creating new files and folders, labeling, commenting, undoing actions and much much more. So simple in fact, that if you know how to do it in the Finder, you will have no problems using NetFinder.

The types of servers/protocols NetFinder supports for remote file management include: ftp, ftps, ftpsi, sftp, webdav, http and file (local file management). This means you can also connect to your Apple iDisk account too.

NetFinder 3 adds some nice touches including, the ability to label (like the Finder) any file or folder on remote servers! You can even add comments too. Additionally, NetFinder also integrates powerful yet simple to create Automation Components (using Apple Automator.app), allowing users to perform complex tasks on remote selected items in a single mouse click.

Of course file management wouldn't be complete without mirroring/syncing support of remote and local files/folders. However, NetFinder is the first to bring you a nice dynamically filterable self contained report which you can filter items in the report with a single click, while being able to send these reports to anyone else to view and print out. In case you are asking, yes, NetFinder work perfectly well with iWeb too, for all your web publishing needs if you don't have a .mac account.

NetFinder also support various Firewalls / Proxies (including SOCKS and OTP), secure storage of passwords using Apple's Keychain Manager, ICI/Ruby Script, previewing of Movies, MP3's and even Shockwave files, integration with BBEdit and other external editors.
