Publisher's description
From SolutionBOX :NetDrive connects remote ftp servers and show them like a virtual hard disk. With NetDrive, managing your ftp/webdav server will be as easy as any old file folder on your PC. Once you mount the local drive, you don't need to run an application or FTP client interface but a simple drag-and-drop in your Windows Explorer will be sufficient to transfer and manage files. NetDrive is free for non-commercial home use. Commercial use requires a license. Version 1.0.7 adds FTPs/HTTPs support (SSL connection), makes server encoding selectable in 'Advanced' menu, fixes some crashes or bugs reported

Version: NetDrive 1.0.7
"A really useful and reliable application"
Pros: Makes it simple to connect to remote ftp servers and allocate a drive letter so that they appear as virtual hard disks in Windows Explorer. Drag and drop folders and files in the usual manner.
Cons: When connecting to a server in 'Use SSL if possible mode', it is not obvious whether the established connection is actually secure or insecure. Creating the optional ftp log does give detailed information, but this also includes the password used!
Summary: Easy to configure and use. Connections to ftp servers can be made automatically when NetDrive starts. Set up once and forget. Works as a bridge for other applications with or without built in ftp functionality. Free for home use. Highly recommended.
