Pros
Great advance over previous versions. Versatile, flexible and easy to use. The only thing that isn't there, is the actual camera that took the video or picture!!
Cons
The creativity available is limited only to the imagination.
Summary
I have used Nero for years and I really enjoy using this latest version. New users have great on-screen prompts and helpful videos to help quick orientation. Congratulations to the programmers. In my experience, many of the negative comments made earlier merely demonstrate a lack of knowledge of the product.

I wish they would bring back the old style Smart start Front end.
Summary
As a Platinum 10 User I was tempted with version 11. Were the Extras worth it ( not realy as it is just a Re Jig) and Now now longer has the Nero Smart Start.
But it still runs rings around the Competitors. -

If you add up the cost of purchasing single products that Nero has compiled in its suite it wouldn't take long to realize that you save a lot of money. That aside I personally used to use power DVD and now don't have to as well i have tried just about all burners out there and find Nero the easiest to use,whether you use Nero express to help or just the burning Rom its fast and reliable.

I suppose installation time could be a bit better.

Nero always strives to keep up with thelatest technolgy while trying to be intuiotive to those with little to no experience. And they are doing a stellar job. Eas6y7 to use and understand, nero has been my choice in replication software for years.
Cons
Back Up portion could be a bit better. Being able to create a clone of my drive and restore it easily would be great. Other than that, nothing bnad can be said about Nero!
Summary
If yopu're looking for an all in one product to burm, back up, clone, rip, etc. this is the one. You cannot do wrong with Nero in any way shape or form!!!

I've been using computers since they first arrived into the market place. I use HUGE CAD programs that can design cities and the install files on any one of these amazing programs is 1/2 of what this ridiculous program is and it just writes CD/DVD's with video editing? Give me a fricking break!!!! There have to be absolute IDIOTS writing code for this program with tons of redundancy because it took FOREVER to download (1 hour) and some ridiculous amount of time to install and it's taken well over a 1/2 hour to uninstall. I haven't even checked the hard drive to witness the residue but per apparently another reviewer stated that it left most of the files (1.7 gigs) even though the installer was to remove these. This is truly one of the most infuriating pieces of crap code ever contrived and or created..........IDIOTS!!!!!

This suite of programs can do a lot...but not enough for the combination of money and hassle. Most features, if you really want them, are available from free programs out there, but yes, this does pull them all together. Pretty pricey to have these components as a suite, versus finding your own.
Cons
Bloated. I know that Nero has addressed this a bit in responses to feedback, but given that they include video samples and video for help...it is really fat.
I really hate the "patent system" and the need to register all the sub components. The reasoning is this keeps cost down, but this is pretty pricey as is.Summary
Not worth the price, hassle, or harddrive space.

More than an hour of installation, a range of errors, to spoil the disc ( Sony CD-R )....After uninstalling the system remained nearly 2 GB of unnecessary files!I spent some time for finding its (It's were scattered throughout the system)I went back to version 10.It works quickly and flawlessly.
