Simply Put, I received a LG GP08NU6B USB CD/DVD Burner, as a Gift! It was some what misleading about the Software that cam with the device, by CyberLink, I am still listed as a "Bronze Member' and License's show that I should be able to use there Power2Go V6.02, however, any time I load the Software, Non-Function seems to be the best Description, if I use there Power2Go V5.5, I am still very limited on what I can Burn With this Device? Even Simple Data Burn to a DVD seems to Crash, just before it is Finished?? I have heard many, tell me that Ahead/Nero is one of the best DVD Burning Software Available, but I have yet, to experienced this Successfully???

Only good for getting a toolbar forced on you with the install, and copying a disk you already have.
Cons
This program does very little unless you buy the full version, it cant even make a damn music disk.

More and more companies now a days provide "free" stuff just to try and scam you into buying something, pathetic ********. This should not even be in the free section...

I needed a fast copy of a CD, I look around and ended to choose free NERO light.
I downloaded the free version and used it right away to copy my CD. No problem at all, not the fastest but do the job wanted.

Without offering the option, it went ahead and tried to install the Ask.com toolbar without my permission. It was impossible to uncheck the box, as it was grayed out. Couldn't even end the installation by right-clicking from the Windows 7 toolbar. Had to force a reboot to stop the installation.
Summary
Shame on CNET for not disclosing that this POS software installs spyware without permission. You mentioned that it installs desktop icons, but DID NOT MENTION THE F'ING TOOLBAR. CNET has now lost all credibility in my mind. DO NOT TRUST CNET DOWNLOADS!!! They used to be guaranteed to be malware free, but now apparently the dollar reigns supreme.
