    "Exercise in Excess"

    Packed with just about every gizmo, option, bell & whistle imaginable. Fast and accurate burning.

    Cons

    Too much of a good thing. Not everyone needs or wants all the sound recording/ripping/converting tools, picture tools, etc. I would rather they cut the feature count, and price, in about half.

    Worse is that it's difficult to remove. Do a typical uninstall, and Nero leaves all sorts of trash behind in the Windows registry. If you try it, you'd better like it, cause getting rid of it is a real chore.

    Unfortunately, Nero took a couple of steps backward with this version. If you have version 6, stick with it and avoid this one.
