    "Doesn't work, unstable"

    February 21, 2005  |   By dlipsitz

Version: Navy Field: Resurrection of the Steel Fleet 1064

    Pros

You can chat with other players.

    Cons

Application tested on two identical machines equiped as follows:

Intel D865GBF mb w/Intel P4 2.5 GHz, 512 MB Dual Channel DDR400 RAM, built in graphics disabled in favor of ATI Radeon w/ 256 MB DDR VRAM.

    Cable broadband (3000/256)

    Microsoft Windows XP Pro SP2

    Everything else gamer standard

Application got one star rating because it does have potential, and because it is a beta version, not a release version, so some bugs were to be expected. However, game failed security, compatibility, and stability tests to an extreme I haven't seen in years. Game also came without ANY instructions, making installation and game play a miserable experience the one time the program worked on each machine. Game locks up computers in subsequent game sessions, requiring hard reboot. Even the login and registration processes were to be guessed at through trial and error.

"Slight learning curve, but well worth it."

    February 8, 2005  |   By o4shodo

Version: Navy Field: Resurrection of the Steel Fleet 1064

    Pros

Once you get the hang of the controls, this game is will be difficult to let go. The game is huge content wise, and the frequency of rewards for playing well help to keep the game fresh and entertaining. Even in its US infancy, the beta community is very impressive for being knowledgable, supportive, and helpful. This is a great game.

    Cons

The controls may be slightly confusing at first. Due to the immense customizing capabilities presented through the game, one may also be confused as how to correctly equip a ship.

    "Get this game... Excellent!!!"

Version: Navy Field: Resurrection of the Steel Fleet 1064

    Summary

Navy Field is one of the best games I've ever played, MMOG or otherwise. The simple graphics is more than made up for the gameplay. There is a slight learning curve in controlling the ships, but once u get the hang of it, u will love every minute of it. Still in beta phase, hope the commercial version comes out soon. Navy Field also has a great chat community, so check it out now!!

    Summary

I am so excited for NavyField has English Version for all North America players and can download in here. This is a warship game based on WW II. Moreover, update and maintain server frequently.
I recommend to all English users.
