"Its a good game but its incompleted"
Version: Navy Field: Resurrection of the Steel Fleet 1.074
Pros
this game is a very real good option in the area of RTS games. you shoot ships with torpedoes, cannons , even planes , really a great game
Cons
i think the game must have more updates , and a spanish forum (for spanish players, because we are a lot) , i think the game must be more balanced (english and german ships are worse than the rest)

"Fun game but horrendous grind for money/exp"
Version: Navy Field: Resurrection of the Steel Fleet 1.074
Pros
Very customizable, huge battles, many options, a lot of boats, a lot of strategy, takes skill
Cons
VERY VERY VERY hard to make money/exp, must be a hardcore gamer in order to purchase the high level boats. Problems with "nuke" torpedos, Q-class boats are too powerful, other balancing issues.

the game overall is great but the money system is hard to make money. Also the Q class is unbalance and the USS CL is to expensive compare other nation in the game.

"Great game recomended download for all war enthusiasts"
Version: Navy Field: Resurrection of the Steel Fleet 1.074
Pros
Very fun naval game. It is a very nice choice for all gamers. The controls of the game are difficult to master, however once mastered them become very easy to use. Mulitiple types of ships, progression through levels such as a MMORPG. This would be considered a MMO War game.
Cons
Some things that could present a problem to the gamer is the difficult credit system. The Navy Field team has promised to revamp the entire credit system so that should help everyone out. So far that is the only con i have found.

"Frighteningly Addictive"
Version: Navy Field: Resurrection of the Steel Fleet 1.074
Pros
In Navy Field you take the role of a WWII naval captain and fight in numerous on-line battles in an MMP arena to earn the cash and experience for ever bigger, better ships.
In this regard, Navy Field is frighteningly addictive, as there are a wide variety of ships from four nations (UK, US, Germany and Japan) and weapons available.
The battle controls and game interface of designing your ship and recruiting your crew are easy to learn, though slow to master.
While not click fests the battles are fast paced and can become quite tense as you watch those torpedoes crawling ever closer to your ship, biting your nails as your helmsman tries to complete the turn out of harm's way in the nick of time.
It's easy to succumb to "one more game" syndrome. The whole experience is quite novel, as there really isn't another game like this out there.
Cons
On the downside, progress in Navy Field can be slow - painfully slow at times. Stop salivating over that Iowa or Montana class Battleship of your dreams - you'll probably be stuck in a Fletcher class destroyer. Not that racing around in destroyers isn't a blast, but the miserly rate at which the game doles out credits at once makes each victory that much sweeter, but at the same time also makes defeat particularly disheartening. On a particularly bad day of lost battles it's possible to lose your hard earned store of credits with repair and re-armament costs.
The game's documentation is also spotty, with some poor translations from Korean, and large holes in certain areas, such as exactly what certain classes of sailors do, as well as an incomplete list of game controls (though all the essentials are provided).
Also within the novelty of the arena of WWII combat, the game doesn't offer a great deal of variation. The maps are fairly simple (sea, more sea, the odd island) and battles can fall into very familiar patterns.
A campaign mode of some sort would be a real bonus here and play to the games strengths of persistant player statistics and continual advancement, but sadly Navy Field doesn't have anything like this.
These problems are not insignificant and all give the feel of a not-quite-finished product (understandable, given the game is still a Beta), but under them all it's possible to see what could eventually become a classic game peeking out. If you're a fan of the bygone era of big gun naval combat, or just want to take a break from the ever present clutch of FPS, then Navy Field is definitely worth giving a shot.
After all, right now the Beta is free, and all it'll cost you is hours upon hours of your free time!
