  Pros

  Navicat have improved my work with MySQL and the interface is VERY good. It's small, fast, slick, non-bloated and efficient - just the way every app should be. I would not hesitate to recommend it to all MySQL Users

  "It's fantastic"

  Pros

  I just bought Navicat the other day for use with an MySQL database. I am very impressed with this product. It works fantastic. It does so much more than I expected. Just wanted to let you know.

  "Simple and Powerful"

  Pros

  I use Navicat for scheduled Backups, User Control, and general database administration. Navicat truely makes it easier to administer MySQL than any other product I have tried.

  Although some other MySQL Administration tools are free, however, Navicat's add-on functions like Import/Export, SSL Connection justify the purchase.

  "Good Import Functions"

  Version: Navicat (MySQL GUI) 6.1.10

  Pros

  I am using it to transfer a database from MS Access to MySQL, and Navicat makes the transfer extremely simple, better than the other options I explored. Besides importing from MS Access, it also support importing other types of data.

  Now, I have set a schedule to run the import from Access, and then print the Report every morning. It saves me a lot of time.

  "Easy to use and inexpensive for so many functions with it"

  Pros

  As a web programmer, I have to work on mysql database so often. With Navicat, I can escape from the dull command prompt and enter data as easy as in MS Excel. Designing Table is also fast and simple with Navicat. All i can say is "What you see is what you can get with Navicat"

  Besides MySQL Administration, I also routinely backup my data with Navicat's Schedule Bacup functions.

  Another feature which i like most is the Data Transfer function, i can tranfer the data from my db to another by drag and drop. So simple...

  Cons

  Documentations on Navicat's Report builder is insufficient, fortunately, the Report Builder is not that difficult to use, together with the kind and helpful Support Staff, I can figure out how I can create report shortly.

  "Worked great!!!"

  Pros

  It took only 30 minutes not 30 days to realize that Navicat is the exact

  application we needed. Because its interface is so user friendly that is

  all the time it took to setup and test the imports and create the schedule

  we needed. Without this software I would not be able to create the web

  applications our company uses on a daily basis.

  "Easy to use"

  Summary

  This is a great tool for admin of a MySQL database. Import and export ability is very useful. The user interface was well thought out and is very easy to use and get comfortable with.
  
  The report writer isn't the best. But the product as a whole is very good.
