From brandtactics: Pray for your Parish while on the move!St. Davids Church of Ireland in Naas is celebrating 800 years of PRAYER & WORSHIP IN 2012. Naas is an historical town and its Gaelic title is Nas Na Riogh which translates as Meeting of the Kings. It was on the Site of St. Davids Church where the Kings of Leinster would meet and hold council. The Hill of Tara would have been another such place of assembly. St. Patrick is said to have visited this site whileon his travels, preaching the Gospel. It is very likely that the wooden structure erected at that time, was dedicated to our patron Saint, Patrick. This APP is warmly supported and financed by TEAM UNION FOCUS the dedicated, driving force behind the Parish magazine, which was launched in September 2011. To date we have readership as far as Perigeuex in the South of France and Kentucky in the USA.FEATURES OF OUR CHURCH APPHistory - Brief informative history of St. Davids ChurchContact Us - A means to get in contact directly with Team Union FocusMAIN FEATUREThe Daily PrayerSpecific Prayers for each day of the weekSpecific Parish Groups to be remembered in prayer on different days of the week.Get in touch with us if you have any queries or would like any further information on our Parish, Naas Union.
