  I had a 180mb pdf which we were unable to upload to our website due to server limits. A quick drag and drop with NXPowerLite reduced the file size down to a fantastic 1.8mb which was then easily uploaded to our website with minimal fuss. Very pleased!

• Simple, easy, it works

  Pros

  Really easy drag and drop - straightforward to use. Reduced a whole bunch of my Excel, Word, PDF and PPT files by an average of 33%, some up to 75%. Can't see any difference in the files when I open them. I'm using this to make more space on my machine, which is getting full - it's much quicker and more effective than defrag, or anything else I can think of.

  Tried to compress several PDF files, and fiddled with every setting, reducing it right down to minimum, and it still told me it couldn't compress.

  Installed NXPowerLite, opened it, easily found and added my PDF files (Windows Explorer type interface), hit "optimize" and presto ... 70% to 80% smaller PDF files (ie 2995 KB PDF File compressed to a 995 KB File) Opened them up and the quality is as good as original! What an awesome utility program!!

  Converts embedded photographs in my MS Word reports easily and seemlessly and enables me to email them.

  It would be great if it could convert my Word file to a PDF straight after it compresses the photos.

  Summary

  I write structural reports on buildings containing loads of embedded photographs in Microsoft Word; then I have to email them. NXPowerLite seemlessly makes it possible to email my reports with no loss of photographic definition. Without it, I would have no hope of achieving what I need to.
