Pros
Easy-to-use software with low CPU overhead. Easy access to backed-up files online, from any computer. You can also delete or download individual files. Fast initial backup. Can easily customize settings for file types, size or location.
Cons
Paid for one year with PayPal and automatically signs up for yearly billing renewal. Guess that's expected nowadays though, and you can undo it with a few clicks at PayPal's website.
Summary
I just signed up for the basic unlimited service (no add-on modules) and had no problem at all with the initial backup of about 30GB. Very customizable - for example, you can set it to upload video files of a certain size or smaller. I love the MANUAL backup options, where you can pick exactly what to back up and when. You can even select or deselect individual files in a folder.
Their website is very easy to use - it has folders just like on your computer (same folder names). You can easily see what individual files are backed up and download or delete them if you want, from any computer. Many more options and MUCH easier to use than Carbonite!
