I'd been looking for something similar to "My List" (TM) on Drugstore.com. Being able to check things off and add them to the printout works well for me, and going through the whole list reminds me of things I would otherwise forget to PUT on a list. The "Note" option is a useful addition for activities that don't fit (stopping to get gas is the example given). It's organized by tabs, and you can save different lists for different stores. In future versions I'd like to see the ability to add more than one item at a time, to alphabetize additions to the categories or to customise the tabs to reflect the aisles in your store. It does just fine the way it is, but that would move it up to "excellent". It's so easy to use you could even have your family add checkmarks to a list all week as they run out of things.
