"Perfect"

Pros
Nothing like program that is easy to use to great support behind it. Simple enough to just keep track of your firearms quick and easy, with additional option to keep track of the accessories for that firearm, ammunition, and much more. The support staff also told me that upgrades are free.

I really enjoy the this application! The Ammo Inventory Functions and Reports has helped out alot with my collection. And the Ability to keep track of everything is very handy. The Backup and Restore application has helped reduce the load of paper work that I keep locked since now I can export the information to a spread sheet, pdf file or to the printer as needed but keep all the information safely stored on a thumbdrive!
Cons
Needs a Copy Firearm function that will allow me to duplicate all the standard information from one firearm to a new entry so all I would have to do is enter in the Serial number instead of copy and pasting all the details.

I've compared all the firearm inventory software before deciding on this one and even though there are simularities between all of them, this one was easy to use and had other features that the other 3 software packages that I evaluated didn?t have. Even though the others had things that this one doesn?t, it was still easier to use and very organized in the way it presented the information. Also the backup and restore applications that came with it backed up everything including the pictures which allowed me to copy my information from one computer to another.

Didn't have a wish list.

The parts they got right when they tried to copy NM Gun Collector software.
Cons
Although "My Gun Collection" has a similar look and feel, similar database structure, and even similar data!! (look at "Details", "Maintenance" and "Gun Smithing" tabs for examples) the functionality does not even come close to NM Gun Collector software.
