• Suitable for use on the server in a company

  -pretty quick, -reads TIFs, MDIs, PDFs -searching for metadata in TIF and PDF files in a folder (including subfolders)

  -demo can not be tested in a full measure

  Summary

  It has been tested on a server of insurance company. Verified and accepted as default TIF viever/editor for our server.

  It contains all the necessary operations with pages. Very friendly interface.

  The help file (documentation) is not complete and is only available in English.

  It contains functionality similar to MS-MODI, but more clearly and more convenient in many cases.

  Easy scanning, quick reading of files, user-friendly interface. Convenient to create comments. Hidden comments. Possibility to serach for files in a folder by metadata.

  Cons

  When you export a recognized text to MSWord, each page opens in a separate window instead of to be open in a single document.

  all of a sudden I have this jumk software that took over my browser, changed my home pages, changed by default search engine and the only way I can get rid of it is to do a system restore.

  Pros

  At least it works. Is the only program that was able to read my 90 page tif file (1.5 Gb ). All important functionality. It should be noted a comfortable work with comments. It has a nice bitmap editor.

  Cons

  Not modern interface (old "classic" design). It looks like the interface needed to be refreshed. It did not affect on my rating because this subjective notion. May be a bit expensive.
