"I took it out. Could not integrate with google"
Pros: It is a good mail app but not for the mobile
Cons: too complicated for the mobile

"Excellent for travelling people"
Pros: 1. Can use it in different countries even in China internet public places with all info in local language only.
2. Having all my mails in small pendrive-very useful
3. Protecting from spam mail etc- good oneCons: Would welcome better way to:
1. transfer address book between two Thundirbirds
2. update if automatic not working, there is poor expl on web pages
3. Check/scan from Mozilla web pages if content of pendrive wilth Thundirbird is free fom viruses etcSummary: I am travelling a lot in different countries, using all sorts of local computers to get my mail. Pros: All data will be stored in only one folder. So it's easy to manage.
- You may take it with you (USB)Cons: No tray. There should be tray. I don't think anybody would like to keep Thunderbird minimized a whole day.
Summary: For those who think portables are useless: - If you have ever removed your basic Thunderbird, don't think it's really gone. Your sensible email data is still stored in "C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Application Data\Thunderbird". - Is it really ... read more

Pros: It's not really portable unless I can just open it and run it. It's better to simply copy the directory in the programs folder.
