"Very Intuitive and Easy to Use"
Version: Mozilla Sunbird 0.9
Pros
Syncs with other calendar formats. Offers several features such as a mini calendar alongside the enlarged calendar. It is easy to share this calendar.
Cons
I wish I had more control over the appearance. There appear to be only a handful of extensions and add ons. I would prefer the color coding for each event to comprise the entire background of that event rather than just the tip of the event. I would also like to be able to alter the color scheme of the calendar itself to something other than white/grey or a blood red theme.
Summary
Overall, this is one of the easiest calendars to work with because it is so intuitive and user friendly. I just wish it was more vibrant looking, or at least allowed us to have more control over its color scheming.

"Super FREE Program"
Version: Mozilla Sunbird 0.9
Pros
I have just downloaded and started to use this program. Although I found the portable Sunbird. This was convenient as I was going to transform Mozilla Sunbird download from CNET into a portable. It is the program I was looking for to keep all of my time and tasks for work, and events at home. I will be advising many of my students and friends to use this program.
Cons
So far I cannot find a con. I did notice something about the alarms not working properly in one of the reviews so will not be activating those until I learn more about them.
Summary
This was just what I was looking for to keep track of the time I work, and notes for what I accomplish during work hours.
Still very impressed with this program!! It is doing what I need it to do.

"Very useful"
Version: Mozilla Sunbird 0.9
Pros
I can sync with my google agenda and keep track of my personal appointments and all the "to do's" at work.
Cons
I needed some pacience to configure it correctly and get it set, but with some help online I got it working well.

"Very full featured calendar"
Version: Mozilla Sunbird 0.9
Pros
I use it like I did with Outlook.
Full featured calendar with dates, holidays, reminders, etc.Cons
Can't minimize to tray. If you close it, you will not get reminded. But there's an addon to make it go to the tray (I can't remember how, but I found one that works great)
Summary
Now that Win 7 does not come with a calendar program (Vista did have a good one), I find that Sunbird is perfect (once I enable it to stay at the tray even if I close it).
I like having the calendar separate from the email. I now use Thunderbird 3 since Win 7 doesn't have a built in email client and I couldn't get the Lightning addon calendar to work with Thunderbird, but Sunbird is a fantastic program. -
"Excellent free calendar."
Version: Mozilla Sunbird 0.9
Pros
My wife and I use Sunbird to sync our appointments. She highlights all of her appointments in pink and of coarse I highlight mine in blue. Makes checking and scheduling appointments a breeze.
Cons
Has a known issue with printing. Why print it anyway? Have had a RARE glitch or two on my wifes PC (Vista) where an appointment didn't show up and was then re-added. It then showed up on my PC (Windows 7) as a double entry. Vista or her PC?
Summary
I recommend it if you're not already using Outlook or if you don't want to use Outlook for whatever reason.

"alot like outlook calandar but not as good."
Version: Mozilla Sunbird 0.9
Pros
Nice calendar for the most part
Cons
I couldnt put an end date to recurring things like classes, etc. It moves slowly going from one month to the next month, a few seconds pause, which is irritating in a hurry.
Summary
Pretty good.

"Easy to use and very complete"
Version: Mozilla Sunbird 0.9
Pros
Quite intuitive and complete
Cons
The list of contacts should be more accessible, perhaps in the form of a side window

"I like it easy to use and view"
Version: Mozilla Sunbird 0.9
Pros
its a good diary, full potential as yet unexplored
Cons
non that I have yet found
Summary
Easy to use and most important to back up. disliked the standard MS products because the backing up and recovery was so difficult form me, a non techie.

"Excellent software!"
Version: Mozilla Sunbird 0.9
Pros
It's easy to use/understand, it uses little system resources, does what it says it will, and also has a few other cool features.
Cons
It doesn't have a "Minimize to system tray" function, like Microsoft Outlook. Without this function, you have to keep it running for your notes/reminders to work, and if you exit the program, they don't work.
Summary
Because it doesn't have a "Minimize to system tray" function, like Microsoft Outlook, is really sad (for me), cause any notes/reminders I make do NOT show up unless I keep it running. If Mozilla can fix this, I'll definitely be using this more.
