"FAST and BEAUTIFULL(if you install some nice'personas')"

    November 25, 2012  |   By salesalex

    Pros

-easily adding a search provider when site has that option is the thing which I like the most of all = I have added CNET as a search provider and it is cool =I just do one click to change search provider then mark some text + right click on it + searh via CNET= voila ,it opens CNET page which matches that text. And that works for youtube ,wikipedia and every decent site.

-very cool feature is add, remove or replace the default icons on mozilla's interface, just right click near some icon and click on 'settings'.

-you can change HOME page into every one you want(google, bing etc.)

    Cons

1.I must update adobe flash plugin and MOZILLA FIREFOX manually ,but I think that is better that way .

    Summary

1.haters of MOZILLA are either lazy or very ignorant people.
    2.read my ''pros''

I think that 'TAB MIX PLUS' add-on is not secure thing (it is spyware or adware) and that is the reason that MOZILLA left it behind. If you want to open like ten or more pages automaticaly when F.F starts you should do next: 1.Make'favorites bar' always visible 2.make new folder on it 3.drag and drop in it every bookmark that you want on start 4.click on big orange button-go to options window and click on the left button 5.in the 'my first page' just click 'use bookmark' - find it - click on it - OK - save - restart FIREFOX -and wait for some time for pages to load (depending on your internet speed). And btw. I don't think that people who use MOZILLA are it's haters .

Salesalex ... Now to address what Tab Mix plus does. From what I read in you last response I get the feeling we are talking about two entirely different things, apples and oranges. Correct me if I'm wrong but the procedure you describe is for setting up Firefox to automatically load one or a number of web sites when Firefox starts. Correct? What I'm talking about concerns how the tabs and tab bar act. Tab Mix Plus simply enhances Firefox's tab browsing capabilities. The extension includes such features as duplicating tabs, controlling tab focus, tab clicking options, undo closed tabs & windows, control of the color of the tabs & text, tab context menu, main context menu, tab opening and closing characteristics....... The list goes on and on! This is an incredibly useful add-on, however setting it up with its vast number of options can be quite overwhelming to a newbie. A guide that helps to clarify what these options do is available on the TMP homepage.

    salesalex ... I went to...https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/tab-mix-plus-incompatible-firefox-17-use-dev-build...and found this:

Why was Tab Mix Plus marked incompatible with Firefox 17?

We received a number of reports that menu items were not working in Firefox 17. Further investigation showed that Tab Mix Plus 0.4.0.3 was causing these issues. In an effort to provide the best experience for our users, we chose to mark the add-on incompatible.

It has nothing to do with adware or spyware! Firefox comes out with version 17 and it's incompatible with Tab Mix Plus. While the burden to stay current falls on the extension developers it was the change in Firefox from version 16.0.2 to 17 that was REAL cause the problem. The extension works just fine in version 16.0.2. Is it necessary to come out with a new version so often? All it REALLY does is force developers to stay current at an unrealistic and uncomfortable pace, and ultimately deprives users of much wanted/needed extensions.

Your comment on my review leads me to believe that I'm the one you're referring to when you say "haters of Mozilla are either lazy or very ignorant people." I am neither! Can you differentiate between hating the browser and hating what the developers are doing with the browser? Upon reading my review wasn't it clear to you that I'm an avid FF user who is simply frustrated and disenchanted with the policies I see as not working? You shouldn't make blanket comments like that for you don't truly know the intelligence/experience of the reviewer, nor do you know the energy level that the person puts into maintaining their computer.
