  Pros

  Intuitive, quick. Get the odd short hang, which I am sure is Windows. Only real complaint is that I can't get enough contrasst on the tabs.

  WTH would anone use Explorer?

  thomas ..... I forgot to mention you can also adjust the text color the same way. This extension alows you to use italic, bold, or underlined text too. If that is not enough you can also add and tweak the color of a progress meter on the tab.

  thomas..... Why do you have contrast problems with the tabs? Try using Tab Mix Plus. There is an option in this extension to color the active tabs, unloaded tabs, unread tabs and other tabs, all to different colors. This addon gives you a palette of 70 colors to choose from, each which you can adjust opacity from 0 to 100 percent. It's a feature that can give you quite a choice of colors! I was able to tweak the tabs on my Firefox to get exactly the color combination I wanted. Tab Mix Plus is a great extension for adjusting far more than just tab colors.
