    "Don't Bother Upgrading"

    July 19, 2012  |   By MacGuffin

    There are no pros.

    You're kidding, right?

What a mistake! This is without a doubt the worst version of Firefox I've ever used. It slows up to the point that attempting to type is like slogging one's way through molasses and it's not handling video well either. Mind you, perhaps this "will be less of a problem as hardware improves," i.e. my 2.5 year old 3.06 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo MacBook Pro clearly isn't up to the task of running a BROWSER to its best advantage (I mean, come on). In the meantime, Version 14.0.1 is going into the trash and I'm heading back to the previous release. Does CNET actually test drive these things before composing (and inflicting on us) the War and Peace of software reviews??
