"Fix Reaplayer 15 Download and Record Video"

    June 21, 2012  |   By John A Dill

    Pros

I like the tab summaries on your browsing history when you open a new tab.

    Cons

Realplayer "Download and Record Video" feature with Adobe update 11.3 does not work. See Summary for solution.

    Summary

he latest Adobe Flash Player update 11.3 has stopped Reaplayers "Download and Record Video" from working in Firefox 4 thru 13. The way to fix that is to remove Flash Player 11.3 using Flash Player Uninstaller @ this link>>> http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/uninstall-flash-player-windows.html#main_Download_the_Adobe_Flash_Player_uninstaller Look for the uninstaller (671 KB). Then I went to this link to install Flash Player 10.3 >>>http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/archived-flash-player-versions.html you have to scroll down to all the older apps and select the correct one. I saved the zipped folder to my desktop, the folder was named "fp_10.3.183.20_archive". (6/08/12) Open that folder and open sub folder 10_3r183_20 folder. For Windows Select and install both "flashplayer10_3r183_20_win.exe" and "flashplayer10_3r183_20_winax.exe". Restart your PC and the "Download and Record Video " button will be working again in FF4 thru FF13
    (W7 OS 64bit & Vista 32bit RealPlayer 15)
