    "Are you kidding me?!"

    June 6, 2012  |   By Marlo_Thomas

I wouldn't know...Firefox 13 immediately crashed my entire computer, power and all, every time I attempted to open Firefox.

The fact that Firefox 13 knocked down my computer every time I attempted to open it is a biggie. Beyond that, I wouldn't know, since I obviously could not use it.

If versions 11 and 12 were any indication, I should have known that unlucky number 13 would be nothing but problems. Versions 11 claimed to run more quickly than previous versions; instead, it ran slower. Version 12 crashed an average of seven or eight times a day, usually in close repetition, until Mozilla fixed it. Now, just when I thought a new version could only be an improvement, it managed to top previous versions by crashing and taking everything else down with it. What's next for future versions? Wiping out the computer's files? Disabling the computer's on/off switch? I just don't know.
