Version: Mozilla Firefox 1.0.1
"Better than Opera, and totally libre."
Pros: Firefox is easy to use, attractive, good at its job and has taught me new ways to use the Internet. I think Microsoft has learnt some lessons too! My favourite features are: blocking adverts, listing headlines of news sites, skipping past login/register forms, and letting me add search keywords to the address bar. (Nota: some of these require extensions to be installed).
Cons: I can't find extensions for one or two of my favourite Opera features... and I couldn't get it to work properly for 2 days after upgrading --- but that doesn't bother me. I just used Opera for a day or so.

Considering your review included the cons of not getting the browser to work properly for 2 days - how is it you are rushing to defend Firefox on the merits of my review. I love Firefox and the vast majority it's customers will need to upgrade from 1.0.
Their are more extensions available at Mozilla sister sites such as mozdev.org/extensions - these guys have the really great stuf such as X on tabs to close ect. If you can't find your eerrrm favourite extenstions for Opera yet - try there.
