"Disappointing"
Version: Mozilla Firefox 4.0.1
Pros
None that I can think of
Cons
Disables many Firefox adds ons
Summary
Firefox 4 seems to be trying to emulate the look and feel of Internet Explorer 9 or Google Chrome. The problem with over simplification is that much is sacrificed to achieve that end, and that's often useful and loved features and add ons that make people choose Firefox over other browsers. Now I am faced with either "upgrading" to a browser version I do not like or losing the very features and reason I use FF in the first place. Sometimes its best to leave what isn't broken alone.

"Great browser, could be better"
Version: Mozilla Firefox 4.0.1
Pros
Takes up less screen real estate than IE. Is less clunky than IE. Delivers a better user experience than IE.
Love the autofill address bar, so convenient. Just start typing - and go!
It's open source - problems get identified and fixed - quickly!Cons
Just little things - like an X button on the tab when you only have one tab left; being able to add toolbar buttons for Options and add-ons.
Occasionally web pages don't render or function as well as IE - that's more the web designer's problem.Summary
Better than IE - hands down. Why are people still on that ageing, creaking browser?

"Still better than ie"

Still better than ie, but...
Cons

Summary
Like the new features, hate the new look.

"I love Firefox"
Version: Mozilla Firefox 4.0.1
Pros
I have always like FF better than IE, simpler, cleaner, and loads faster
Cons
Can quit or get caught up & you have to restart
-
"A catastrophic failure!"
Version: Mozilla Firefox 4.0.1
Pros
Fast startup
Cons
What doesn't it break? It is buggy, crashprone, the toolbars are completely messed up, it destroys your profile database... What else did I leave out?
Summary
This is a total nightmare to run. Just stay with 3.6 or roll back to it. 3.6 has startup issues- but once it gets going it is the best browser. Also when rolling back be sure to back up your profile database( bookmarks, addons etc...) or it may destroy them too!

"don't know why everyone is having a problem with it.."
Version: Mozilla Firefox 4.0.1
Pros
-clean, customizable interface
-fast as always
-great support for addons(adblock plus is the best thing since sliced-bread)
-more secure than internet explorer, I think, lolCons
-new default user interface is different than the last installment so it may take a bit for some people do get it set the way they want it
-there may still be just a small few sites or webpages out there that don't yet have full support for FF4Summary
I don't see why so many people are having trouble with firefox 4.0.1. The ONLY two problems, one which I couldn't fit into the 'cons' is that quite a few times I've had to restore the browser to its complete default settings since for some reason adblock plus was blocking waaayy to many things to the point where many pages were either unusable or just ugly looking(haven't had that in awhile luckily) and the other problem that I mentioned is that some pages claimed they didn't support the browser(mainly college research databases). I own a toshiba satellite a665-s6050 with a common intel core i3 processor and the browser runs great! Idk what kinda computers the rest of you are running but I don't notice any major overall slowdown in the newer version and having adblock is a great combo. I always feel secure as a firefox user.
