    "I wouldn't use anything else"

    January 25, 2008  |   By lgm-e320

    Version: Mozilla Firefox 2.0.0.11

    Pros

Since the first public version of Firefox, it has been my browser of choice. Add-ons and interfaces are plentiful. It also runs faster than the bloated Internet Explorer.

    "Fast browser"

    January 24, 2008  |   By chatologic

    Version: Mozilla Firefox 2.0.0.11

    Pros

I had to download this browser beacuse of incomparability issues with IE and I was surprised at the speed. Seems like a solid well designed browser. So far I have no complaints. Easy to install, will import your settings and favorites from IE. Overall a very good brower.

    Cons

Some sites don't interface well with it. My banking institution recomends IE, Consequently I have to use IE for some time until all websites support this browser.

    "This is a great program!"

    January 23, 2008  |   By Logheck

    Version: Mozilla Firefox 2.0.0.11

    Pros

Browsing and downloads are faster in FF than in IE

    Cons

Sometimes the bookmarks mysteriously disappear, but you can get FEBE (Firefox Extension Backup Extension) to fix that problem.

    "Fantastico............."

    January 23, 2008  |   By PeterC

    Version: Mozilla Firefox 2.0.0.11

    Pros

Initially ............ "it's like a getting to know you" kind of difficult. especially when you are so used to IE. but once you get the hang of it.......... boy oh boy........ I doubt you will want to go back to IE again. It's fast, responsive, has better customised preferences and don't constantly tell you that there's script errors, website's busy and so far no crashes.

    Cons

Occasionally it's slow especially when you clear your cookies and history.

"have to take some bad with the good"

    January 20, 2008  |   By HuDu

    Version: Mozilla Firefox 2.0.0.11

    Pros

Firefox's menus and layout is about as good as it gets, and the browser is very easy to use. It's stable and integrates well with other programs and services. Not a huge download, and installs very quickly. Probably the best overall choice for Windows users (remembering, of course, that Windows can never be completely free of IE). Opera and Safari may be technically superior, but neither is as easy to set up and use.

    Cons

Mozilla needs to focus on fixing some long-standing bugs instead of adding more bells and whistles. Firefox is a memory hog. CSS absolute positioning and unicode character support (as someone else here has already pointed out) are incomplete. There are even display glitches with nested tables that have been around unfixed since the Netscape days.

The good news is that it looks like some of these issues might finally get fixed for version 3.

"Firefox has been replaced on my PC."

    January 18, 2008  |   By Archaenon

    Version: Mozilla Firefox 2.0.0.11

    Pros

I like it's easy to use interface , tabs and it's IE viewing extension.

    Cons

It's a insane memory hog , even going into the config to try and curb that , I found it sucking memory resources and being closed. Most of the extensions are useless and slow firefox down. At first FF was fast , as each release came out it became more bloated and full of useless add ons and nothing that makes me want to use it all the time.

It needs to support unicode completely ( Korean sites are horrible in FF ) , take away all the bloated extras , slim the interface .

Cut down on it's system resource uses. It can easily freeze and overpower most processes.

Make the IE tab , or make it support more IE conversion to view IE only pages. The IE tab was the only thing keeping me with Firefox , but since the Mead CO. neptune plug-in for opera , and Maxthon I have no reason to use FF again.

I love firefox I really do , but it's got too many problems , and not enough fixs. Just being anything other than IE , like said before , doesn't cut it. Step up the game mozilla.

    "Good Browser"

    January 16, 2008  |   By Gato239

    Version: Mozilla Firefox 2.0.0.11

    Pros

If you just use Firefox as your homepage, it loads very fast. Easy to customize with your favorite web sites. Great when spending loads of time surfing. Great security features.

    Cons

Unfortunately not all web sites are able to open with Firefox. It's a little annoying when you have to change browser's and use IE 7 to access these sites.
