    "Cooler than IE"

    February 20, 2007  |   By Handman003

    Version: Mozilla Firefox 2.0.0.1

    Pros

Firefox definitely beats IE. It has Linux support, for one. And it is, for me, easier to use. And its customizable.

    Cons

    No ActiveX support =(

"Good simple browser with add-ons for those who don't like simple"

    February 20, 2007  |   By ericson07

    Version: Mozilla Firefox 2.0.0.1

    Pros

Fast and simple. Open source means incrementally better improvements get incorporated into the software. It has a basic backbone with a lot of additional features for the power user.

    Cons

I would have preferred some of the add-ons to be bundled with the software. Add-ons took some getting used to.

"Far easilier to use and understand than IE."

    February 20, 2007  |   By technohazard

    Version: Mozilla Firefox 2.0.0.1

    Pros

The ease of finding websites with a simple click and the ability to do advance searches as well. It is easier to find the history, cookies and favorites as well as setting your proxies and internet options. The larger buttons on the menu bar make it easier for people like me that have sight problems and the tabs are a great way to access sites and other e-mail services that we all use quickly. Great product, keep up the good work.

    Cons

The only problem I have with it is the fact that some websites do not allow people using the Mozilla Firefox browsers to enter their site. I have had on two to do this so far but I am sure there is more out there.

"Not worth it if you already have Explorer 7"

    February 20, 2007  |   By schmotto

    Version: Mozilla Firefox 2.0.0.1

    Pros

Was quick and easy to install.

    kept all my favourites(bookmarks)

    Cons

didn't work for a lot of web sites I used and seemed to stop Explorer working too till i removed it.

Tis a pity, a real pity. Maybe try again later.

    Version: Mozilla Firefox 2.0.0.1

    Pros

Wonderful product, endless functionality, exceptional support, superiorly customizable, has the biggest load of useful features and revolutionary concepts in most likely ANY piece of current software. I could go on all day. Beat's IE, Opera, Avant, and anything else by FAR

    Cons

I can't think of anything off the bat.

"Relief! From all the headaches of IE7"

    February 19, 2007  |   By liljos

    Version: Mozilla Firefox 2.0.0.1

    Pros

After being frustrated with numerous problems with IE7, I finally moved to Firefox 2. I love it! It's faster and I haven't found any of the problems I had with IE7, like images not showing, dumping me when I was in the middle of something important.

    Cons

There was a bug with it not saving bookmarks or preferences at first, but their support clearly explained how to fix it easily.

"It is excellent, easy, fast, secure, have a lot of themes, and extensions"

    February 19, 2007  |   By edgar123ny

    Version: Mozilla Firefox 2.0.0.1

    Pros

Everything. You can make it with yahoo toolbar, but I really recommend add Google toolbar, and google Web accelerator. You will see how fast, and useful it is to browse the internet.

    Cons

What I do not like it is that I do not have to much time to play and to discover what I can do with Mozilla Firefox all of its features.

"A very good program-beats Internet Explorer"

    February 19, 2007  |   By dragonslair169

    Version: Mozilla Firefox 2.0.0.1

    Pros

Faster and Safer than IE. It seems because Microsoft is a well known name. A lot of newbies to computing feel that it must be the best. Not so........Firefox takes some beating.

    Cons

The only aspect on the down side for this program is that Firefox is not "fully" suported by some other programs.
