Version: Mozilla Firefox 1.0.1
"This is one on-point browser."
Pros: Firefox is the fastest browser available. Even the most complex webpages on dial-up load lightning fast. And it is totally free! No banner ads, nothing. It is fully customizalbe, and configurable to the individual user. You can configure Firefox to run as you wish, with just the right amount of features you wish, which makes this program truly individual. So I wouldn't pass this one by. Some pages may not cause the browser to work properly, but that has to do with Microsoft-specific programming. As more people break away from IE, more webpages will definately start developing Mozilla compliant programming. The browser has a very clean, and lean interface, which maximizes the browsing window.
Cons: My only concern with this software is the lack of documentation that comes with it. The help documentation is a little lean, so some problems may require a visit to the forums. The people there are very helpful, and they usually answer your questions in a suprisingly expedient manner for a forum on the internet. Also, the downloading the extensions may be a bit intimidating to people that are not very computer literate. Still, the vast amount of features that these extensions have in them make the learning very much worthwhile. The download manager is good, but with a few more additions of funciontality, it could be excellent.

Version: Mozilla Firefox 1.0.1
Pros: Well...its free. Its fast. Its secure. Or at least WAY more secure then I.E. Tabbed browsing(you want tabbed browsing even if you dont know it yet.), It's just plain BETTER then IE. When you get this, i recomend tuning it with FireTune(freeware). That will make it even faster.
Cons: There's a con........??? Where?

Version: Mozilla Firefox 1.0.1
"Better than Opera, and totally libre."
Pros: Firefox is easy to use, attractive, good at its job and has taught me new ways to use the Internet. I think Microsoft has learnt some lessons too! My favourite features are: blocking adverts, listing headlines of news sites, skipping past login/register forms, and letting me add search keywords to the address bar. (Nota: some of these require extensions to be installed).
Cons: I can't find extensions for one or two of my favourite Opera features... and I couldn't get it to work properly for 2 days after upgrading --- but that doesn't bother me. I just used Opera for a day or so.

Version: Mozilla Firefox 1.0.1
Pros: When all is said and done the lastest update is the fastest and most stable I've used.
Most of the old extensions WILL work (Adblocker, Conquery, Tab prefs ect) However be aware that half WILL NOT - and you can kiss all your themes goodbye bar a few - unless you like a crashing Firefox...this brings me to the cons
Cons: 1. Make sure you uninstall the previous Firefox, dump or move the program file and the application file (in Windows/Application/Mozilla) otherwise the program with crash and burn. Start with a clean slate and you shouldn't have any problems - them move or hunt down your fav extentions (a simple file drop into the extention window works - Firefox will tell you if you can use it or not)
However my main complaint is the update feature - it doesn't work half the time and Firefox's extention page can't reconize that you have 1.01 at all. This update was released half baked in my opinion and you kind of get the jest this is really a PATCH instead of an updated browser.
So installing the 'patch' is recommened, just be prepared to take the time to work on it.
One last thing, beware of some themes with this version, they can seriously change the way Firefox looks (oviously - but not in a good way, and runs) Enjoy
