    "Light as hell."

    April 16, 2014  |   By claudedomett

    Version: Mozilla Firefox 28.0

    Pros

Light as hell. FF is the lightest and fastest browser I have ever used.

    Cons

Add-ons are simply awesome and FF has tons of them.

    Summary

The other thing that strikes me is that, FF deals with privacy well, unlike Chrome.

    "AMATEUR PROGRAMMER KIDS!"

    April 16, 2014  |   By multi-timm

    Version: Mozilla Firefox 28.0

    Pros

I used to use this in the past, because of it's customizability.
Now, I only use firefox because autochartist requires it to work with metatrader4 (if you don't know what those are, don't worry, you don't need to care).

I had stopped using firefox because when it auto-updates itself, without asking permission first, it tends to DELETE some of your settings files (or if you prefer, over-write with generic files). It has been doing this for years, and still does.

    Cons

Amateur programmers, kids with no real-life experience in the real world, just have the updater over-write your settings.
They seem completely oblivious to the damage they can cause - the wasted time, reconfiguring things, making a certain app work with it again, remember what settings were and how to change them... they are oblivious to the real world, because firefox has had this annoyance-bug for YEARS, and they still don't change that.

    Summary

I am upset at the amateur programmers who run the firefox operation.
When this thing automatically updates itself, it overwrites your settings, (homepage, open where I left off, bookmarks file, etc), and you just lose everything the way it was.
    it is a real annoyance!
maybe these kids don't have any idea of what it is like, to have a tool make you waste your time with settings and other nonsense... I use a computer as a productivity tool - I don't switch to firefox to have that productivity make me waste my time reconfiguring it to my settings, because some kid thought to impose HIS view of what my personal preferences should be!

    "LOATHE this!"

    April 14, 2014  |   By Ceiligh

    Version: Mozilla Firefox 28.0

    Pros

    None I can find

    Cons

Thanks to "surprise" download, I have lost ALL my bookmarks--my browsing history--nearly everything connected to the previous version of FF.

    Summary

I cannot find enough negative comments--and still be polite--to express the way I feel about this "new" version of FF. Heaven help you if you download this catasctophe!

    "Crashes and loaded with viruses."

    April 14, 2014  |   By tjr954

    Version: Mozilla Firefox 28.0

    Pros

I have no pros. I have no pros. I have no pros. Is that enough words.

    Cons

Every time I would try to start this browser it crashed and finally it would start in safe mode. Once started my virus program would detect malicious virus. People warned me about this but no like Angie's List the second biggest consumer joke the reviews I saw wee to the contrary which leads me to believe they were full of it. Going back to Google Chrome.

"CRASHES constantly - used to be a 5-Star Product"

    April 11, 2014  |   By dravafox

    Version: Mozilla Firefox 28.0

    Pros

Everything else about the Firefox experience has been, and still is, fantastic, especially the ability to log into the browser from different sources and have everything transferred (bookmarks, links, history, wallpaper, etc)

    Cons

I am a supporter of(financial, moral, even almost got a job @) Mozilla/Firefox, but for the first time I will leave these comments and go install/try Chrome because this version, and the ones previous, CRASH constantly, daily even. This version should be withdrawn or abandoned if no fixes are available

    Summary

Has been my browser for over a decade, period, never used another.
Because of daily, repeated crashes, I am going to install and try Chrome to find some stability

    "Frequent Crashes"

    April 9, 2014  |   By ecocks

    Version: Mozilla Firefox 28.0

    Pros

I liked the spell-check feature being active in browser mode.

    Cons

System crashes 6-7 times per day.

System locks up about 2-3 times per week requiring a complete power down via the power switch.

Effectively this makes my computer unreliable for my work activities.

    Summary

Simply, I work via computer and cannot afford being unsure when the system will lock up tight and have to endure a forced power-down. I'll continue looking for a better Browser. Next up either Pale Moon or Chrome for me.

    "Not visually appealing"

    April 8, 2014  |   By eearmyh2o1234

    Version: Mozilla Firefox 28.0

    Pros

It seemed to be compatible with most other programs.

    Cons

I didn't like the look of the interface. Chrome looks much better.
