CNET Editors' review
The final release of Mozilla Firefox offers enough features to make you rethink Internet Explorer. You can easily create toolbars by dragging and dropping icons. Live Bookmarks turn RSS feeds into something that acts like a bookmarks folder. You can type Google search queries right into the address bar or use the built-in search box. The program displays the page source in a new window, using indents and color-coded tags like an HTML editor. You can view your bookmarks or history in the Sidebar area, which lets you quickly revisit your favorite sites. Though the browser hides its advanced settings, you can still build modules using XML, CSS, JavaScript, and even C . The program includes such tools as a JavaScript debugger and a DOM viewer.
At 55MB for 25 windows, the browser uses fewer resources than Internet Explorer but more than Opera. The built-in pop-up blocker works better than Opera's, IE's, and those of most paid standalone utilities. However, the download manager is still underdeveloped. Though the final release version vastly improves stability, we noticed occasional reluctance to maximize in response to Alt Tab commands. People who want more security than IE provides should look at Mozilla Firefox.

"Did they check this before release?"
Version: Mozilla Firefox 21
Pros
No positives.
Cons
Will not display half of the images.
Summary
I go to my favorite news sites and half the images won't display. I upgraded, then I uninstalled, re-installed. No Dice. I'll have to use chrome until Firefox fixes this. 5/17/13.

"Firefox 21 is a step backwards"
Version: Mozilla Firefox 21
Pros
Still reliable for most purposes
Cons
Google Analytics one of several sites not loading. Also, opening a PDF file today Firefox hung for ages ... task manager showed 600,000 K of memory used by Firefox!
Summary
Have been faithful to FF for years but v21 is a dud.

"I like it except for one thing"
Version: Mozilla Firefox 21
Pros
Fast, easy to customize, safe, it's not IE10, developers you can trust. It's really a great browser. I also enjoy using Thunderbird, just like having a stand alone email.
Cons
Sometimes I get a bad script page on simple sites like Yahoo, DOD, ect. Not sure if this is the page or Firefox.
Summary
If it's safe enough to run on a DOD computer that should tell you something. If you haven't donated to help, please do. Keep up the good work.

"Firefox now runs too slow and hogs PC CPU."
Version: Mozilla Firefox 20.0.1
Pros
FF has great plug-ins. I only use about a dozen, but they have been very productive plug-ins. I really love FF.
Cons
Firefox from about release 18 (I'm now on 20.0.1) has become a dog. I'll go to a website, nothing complicated, and Firefox will stall and my CPU will hang with FF eating performance while doing nothing. I have disabled plugin-container and that didn't help. I'm writing this from Chrome. FF has gone from the top to the bottom of the browser list. The weird thing is that the Android FF App is also going hog mode hanging my phone for a couple minutes.
Summary
Firefox used to be great and still has lots of plugins that really help productivity. But it now has a tendency to hog CPU resources and becomes unusable for a couple minutes about once per hour/two hours during constant use. I can run ccleaner and defrag and FF will still hang sometime in the next hour or so.

"Crashes when opening and zooming downloaded PDF Files."
Version: Mozilla Firefox 20.0.1
Pros
Not too many above Chrome and IE 10.
Cons
Habitually crashes as indicated above.
-
"Switch to Google Chrome and avoid a lot of grief."
Version: Mozilla Firefox 20.0.1
Pros
I have nothing good to say.
Cons
Firefox was the best browser before all the bells and whistles were added. Now it crashes every five minutes. Up pops a screen that says, "Well this is embarrassing". To the user it is also extremely irritating. I don't need the bells and whistles, particularly when they result in its taking half an hour to send a short reply to an e-mail. I like simple. There is no more beautiful word in the English language than simple. I have switched to Google Chrome and recommend it highly.

"number 1 in the market"

"Worst Browser"
Version: Mozilla Firefox 20.0.1
Pros
There are none
Cons
Not compatible with Adobe Flash
Crashes dailySummary
With every new iteration, the browser becomes worst. There are many other worthy browsers since Mozilla is coding itself to irrevelance.
