    "Faster than Safari!!!"

    February 23, 2006  |   By TotalImmortal

    Version: Mozilla Firefox (Mac) 1.5.0.1

    Pros

Used the extension FasterFox to make FireFox the fastest browser I've used to date. Definatly look into tweaking the network settings to customize the browser, or let FasterFox do it all for you. I dont think you can find it on here and I'm not going to drop the link, do some homework and you wont be dissapointed. I promise.

    Cons

NOTHING! It's so fast it can really hurt web servers.

    "Awesome Browser"

    February 17, 2006  |   By deaster2

    Version: Mozilla Firefox (Mac) 1.5.0.1

    Pros

Firefox's ability to be configured to the user's wish via extensions and ease of placement of toolbars. If you want a browser to do just about everything, there's an extension that will make your wish come true.

    Cons

Rarely, Firefox appears to get "hung-up" from one website to the other...

    February 11, 2006  |   By Sally Jackson

    Version: Mozilla Firefox (Mac) 1.5.0.1

    Cons

Difficult to configure. I don't like the lack of the page down feature which makes it difficult to use.

    "It's my main browser"

    February 8, 2006  |   By Malckdaddy

    Version: Mozilla Firefox (Mac) 1.5.0.1

    Pros

It's customizable, skinable, tons of extensions, secure, and fast. The only browser for Windows that really compares to it is Opera, which is a great browser also. If the preview version of IE7 is any indication, you may as well just start using Firefox now.

    Cons

I can't think of any cons off hand.

    "Very nice browser"

    January 21, 2006  |   By Shadow-Killa_04

    Version: Mozilla Firefox (Mac) 1.5

    Pros

It seems to be as fast as safari if not faster. I've never had a problem with it. It makes my downloads go much faster for whatever reason. Looks really nice and is much more user friendly than safari.

    Cons

I don't see any directly. Never personaly had a problem.

"It has some problems, no scrolls, select all text and bombed too"

    December 28, 2005  |   By bugsyex

    Version: Mozilla Firefox (Mac) 1.5

    Pros

When browsing its is fine, tabs are a little clunky to get used to and I have not figured out what makes some new windows come in as a new tab verses another window (both things do happen but I have not come up with the common demoninator yet).

    Cons

cant hit scroll down in window, jumps to the very bottom and will not respond upward after that. Must use mouse to move page positions. Placing the curser over the address window does not auto select all text must do a command A to select all. The previous version was great with respect to these items. I did not see and prefs settings for these items to adjust them out. I am sorry to say that if you can keep the pervious version, DO SO, as this release has many problems. Looks like Opera has more control over these and its free too! Bugs Yexley
