    "Excellent but leaky browser"

    March 8, 2013  |   By farker1

    Version: Mozilla Firefox Aurora 21.0a2

    Pros

Stable, fast, plays well with my favourite add-ons (Adblock Plus and Greasemonkey), personas ...

    Cons

Still has a very serious memory leak

    Summary

Would be perfect but for the memory leak. Will this ever be fixed?

    "Aurora Took Over My Website"

    February 2, 2013  |   By muscleguitar

    Version: Mozilla Firefox Aurora 20.0a2

    Pros

    It's fast but.....

    Cons

My 30 websites took over my account.
Simple, we took over domain names and webhosting, and guess what? They posted a link to other websites. That's not right.
AUTOMATIC INSTANT PERMANENT NO!!!!! NEVER AGAIN!!!

    Summary

Forget it! Aurora They took over my websites.
If Firefox 18 took over I'm going to cancel my account.
This is serious business. Normally I could post a link to my hosting account, but they took over and posted a link to a different website.

Aurora has been canceled, (and like I say, if Firefox 18 took over my website, I'll cancel too)

"As an early beta test bed, you can't be too critical"

    November 30, 2012  |   By jkirk1626

    Version: Mozilla Firefox Aurora 19.0a2

    Pros

Frequently updated for a change. In the bad old days that were as recent as 2010, FireFox didn't update itself often. They'd compile a huge list of fixes, but not issue the corrections for months in one massive dump. Now they've improved with lots of little improvements lots of times. Expect to see available updates several times a day.

    Cons

These cons only apply to someone contemplating using this version as a daily driver; an early beta or alpha anything isn't a good choice for a functional do-real-work option. This is cutting edge see-if-this-works / what-will-this-do code for the curious. Using this with that in mind isn't a con.

    Summary

    This applies to Windows 8.

Gmail won't load. The progress will almost complete, but will cease making progress and spin incessantly, never loading.

Same with trying to login to CNET. It will pull down the "login to CNET" options, but not display the option to actually login with your CNET creds.

"So far ok, when they upgrade add ons will be better."

    March 27, 2012  |   By KevinW42

    Version: Mozilla Firefox Aurora 13.0a2

    Pros

    Downloaded it for more security.

    Cons

Still is in beta form and they need to update there own add ons from Mozilla Firefox to work with this new Aurora version. Even there Feedback button doesnt work on this new version.

    Summary

Overall, I much prefer any Mozilla product over Internet Explorer. Much less headaches way more security and peace of mind.

"Best experimental browser I have ever used."

    March 26, 2012  |   By Chaoscrazy

    Version: Mozilla Firefox Aurora 13.0a2

    Pros

    Incredibly fast
    Relatively stable
    Great add-on capabilities
    Simple and comfortable design
    User friendly interface
    Good "private" mode
    Auto checks spelling

    Cons

Updates are annoying prior to browser start

    Summary

I enjoy using the best browsers out there (based on expert and user reviews). I believe a good browser should be very fast, innovative, and user-friendly. While google chrome (canary build) is very fast and user-friendly, it does not utilize add-ons as well as Aurora. In addition to the add-ons, I have compared speeds and Aurora is slightly faster than Chrome and WAY faster than IE9. Fantastic but just like any experimental browser it is unstable so a backup is HIGHLY recommended. Otherwise amazing experience and keep up the good work Firefox.

    "Fast and simple"

    February 3, 2012  |   By Dresden145

    Version: Mozilla Firefox Aurora 11.0a2

    Pros

Very fast page loads, superbly simple display. Very easy to adapt to if you are not a loyal Firefox follower.

    Cons

So far, I'm unaware of any.

    Summary

I decided to completely scrap Google, after their release of their new privacy policy. That meant getting rid of Gmail,Google searching, and sadly, Google Chrome. I've been trying out other browsers for a few days now, and Aurora is phenomenal. Fast, easy to use, and easy to understand. Works with all the sites I need it to, which include Hotmail, Yahoo Mail, Tumblr, etc. Great browser.

"I see no difference or fix."

    January 30, 2012  |   By gktravis75

    Version: Mozilla Firefox Aurora 7.0a2

    Pros

It has the same quality and look as the old FireFox, very easy to import book marks still.

    Cons

It is just like any other firefox browser I have used in the past. Still buggy and laggy. I thought maybe this would be the one for me, but after using it for a day, I still experienced the frustration of using Firefox. Still put off by the fact that I can no longer use google tool bar with this program.
