"It freezes just as as FF 8 did"
Version: Mozilla Firefox 13 beta 9.0b2
Pros
Not FF8 or FF9. But it the problem is fixed I'll gladly go back to FF.
Cons
When I got a message that I had to upgrade to FF 8 because of security issues I did but FF8 would freeze constantly and it kept freezing even after several "automatic" updates so I upgraded to FF9 (not caring that it was a "BETA" program) the moment it came out hoping that the "freezing" would be cured. It did not get any better; FF9 also freezes after only one minute and when I close the program and try to open it again it tells me that I must re-start my PC because FF9 is open but not responding. FYI: My other browsers in the same laptop work fine (Chrome & Internet Explorer 9).
Summary
I will not attempt to use FF anymore until the problem is fixed.

"Still slower than Chrome & Opera"
Version: Mozilla Firefox 13 beta 8.0b5
Pros
Firefox has been my browser of choice for many years now, & most of the things I liked before are still there for me to like.
Cons
This version & version 7 both slow down the operation of my PC to a painful degree, while Chrome & Opera still work at blazing speeds. This latest version of Beta 8 is a slight improvement over its immediate predecessor, but it can still take forever to make connections.
Summary
Chrome has been my default browser since the Firefox 7 slowdown & will remain so unless Firefox can get back to its former speed level.

"Still has problems"
Version: Mozilla Firefox 13 beta 8.0b5
Pros
Easy to upgrade
Cons
Firefox still has not fixed its problems with loading all JPEGs on a site. Originally thought that this upgrade would solve the previous problem but did not. Unfortunately not my favorite any more.

"Not a happy camper"
Version: Mozilla Firefox 13 beta 8.0b5
Pros
Just a good as v 7
Cons
Lost my Norton Toolbar when I upgraded to v8.0b5 beta. The same thing happened to me when I upgraded to v 7 beta. I will have to remember NOT to upgrade to a beta version.
Summary
Wait till the finial version comes out.

"Still not working..."
Version: Mozilla Firefox 13 beta 8.0b4
Pros
There are alternate browsers available!
Cons
This is like the third version, or so, of "8"... and it still has the same problems. Continuous 'loading' of websites or pages that load immediately using other browsers. I've tried to use their own 'feedback' function, but it never finishes loading either.
I don't know what they did wrong, but it would be nice to have a working version again. -
