"Great Software"
Version: MozBackup 1.5.1
Pros
I use this often. When I restore from a computer backup that is a few days old, I first run this to make a fresh backup of my mail program PostBox. I put those PostBox backups made with this software on an external drive. Then I restore from my partition backup and of course it has "old mail". After the restore from the partition backup, I just run his program again and restore the backup it made of PostBox just a little bit earlier and my mail is restored perfectly and everything is current. I even get a choice as to what I want to restore, i.e. mail / settings / etc.
Cons
I find none and it has never let me down.
Summary
I use Symantec and Malwarebytes and it never detected any malware or viruses associated with this program. And while I've had it installed for a long time, I don't recall any tool bars but of course I watch the install screens closely and uncheck anything like that if I don't want it as I presume most folks will do. I use it on my desktop (Win 7 64x) and my laptop (Vista 64x) without issue. I am so glad I found it. Thanks to the author(s).

"What's this garbage doing here?"
Version: MozBackup 1.5.1
Pros
zip zero nada
Cons
After explicitly tell the installer not to install yet another garbage toolbar, it did, and also changed my home page to theirs. Oh, and after 15 minutes of running through my Thunderbird files, it told me backup file couldn't be created. PIECE OF JUNK.

"Flawlessly moved Thunderbird to my laptop"
Version: MozBackup 1.5.1
Pros
I have a complex structure of folders into which my incoming mail is sorted according to the message filters I have set up. I had been aware of Mozbackup for some time but the writeups didn't mention how it handled folders and filters. All I can say is, it handled the transfer flawlessly. The transfer file was over 3GB but no glitches. This is very useful software. I will keep it. Thanks to the programmer(s) for providing it.
Cons
The flawless handling of message filters should be mentioned in the description of the product.
Summary
The best thing you can say about software is that it does what it was intended to do without doing things it wasn't intended to do. This is great software.
