"Finally with mass update!"

Just installed the new version and it's awesome! The nice new look is good, but what I mostly appreciate is the mass update feature. I've been waiting for it since maybe Movienizer 3.0. Many thanks!

"The developer has not cut out the old 2.2 version."

Before people complain maybe they should check out the forum at their website where the developer fully tells how to use the old program so it doesn't update and he still provides a 6.3meg download link to it. Which I just downloaded. Look in the general forum under "Can I go back to 2.2" I haven't tried it yet because I'm still testing the 5-526 version which seems better that 4 other movie programs I looked at today. I like all the data and pics it shows for each movie on one screen. I just want to know if it will combine movies with separate built data files on several HD's on to one HD and maintain the player link and data to those movies.

Summary
I'm assuming that the new version has a lots of improvements with future free updates so over the years one would use this program it seems to be worth it.

Intuitive and simple interface; new feature of tabbed pages; support of numerous online databases; creates movie collection catalogs for Dune and WDTV media players; advanced work with persons; and many others ;))
Cons
Video player could be better. However one can setup his\her favorite player as default for the playback.
Summary
Movienizer is absolutely worth its money. The program is 'always evolving' and tries to satisfy every user requirement. Fast customer support and the software functionality makes it the best

easy to use, minimal controls, installs and uninstalls easily

lacks some bells and whistles; recent "upgrade" now wants money for pro version.
Summary
I DLd and compared 5 different movie database programs; Coolector outdoes them all - 4 clicks to add virtually any movie. This pales in comparison.

Pros
This program helps much if one has more than a hundred DVD's (I have more than 2,000). Good for all sorts of video files, too, but I do not have much of them.

One becomes addicted to it :)

Functionality! This program has very good features, nice reports, filters, sorting methods. Didn't see anything like that in other programs that I tried.
Cons
I think it's the best program on my PC, but there is still some room for improvements. For example, I could use a couple more fields in reports (but I've heard that developers are working on this).

They don't allow you to keep your free version They hack your free version when you add a movie even if you don't update so it doesn't download pictures or info anymore.Summary
Any reviewers that say they were using the free version and don't care about the way we were mislead to update the program as many of us have been doing for months only to find out about this trial scam are working for Movienizer. Even if you don't update the program it will stop downloading pictures and info. It changes the free program on YOUR computer WITHOUT YOUR PERMISSION. I reject this program on principle.
Shame on You Movienizer your software deserves to be CRAKCED!!!!!!!! -

Summary
I have a large collection of DVD's and I was looking for software to catalog my holdings. Movienizer is the only software which allowed me to take my excel spreadsheet of all my holdings and cut and paste them into the "add movie" interface on Movienizer. Once pasted into Movienizer, the program pulled from the internet all the pertinent info on each movie AUTOMATICALLY. I have tried every other piece of software out there and this is the only program which will do these. It downloaded all the necessary information about the movie including the movie billboard. This is a reasonable priced piece of software, which you can try for free. If you have a DVD collection, give this a try!
