Pros
the app's smarter and more stable than versions of final draft i've demo'd. feature set really shines in the revision phase (or phases) of scripting. and tech support is as quick and responsive as any i've ever encountered in a mac developer.
Cons
the initial learning curve is a little steep. and the app's inability to import final draft files--due to a proprietary format issue, i'm guessing--makes collaboration with someone who works in final draft a two-step process instead of one-step.
Summary
i first-draft in scrivener--which i can't recommend highly enough for working writers. but when it's time to get the script in submittable industry format and start finetuning pages and pagecount, screenwriter really helps with the heavy lifting.
