  Joins video segments in the blink of an eye.

  Cons

  In order for it to join video segments, they all have to be the same format, same dimensions, same frame rate, and same bitrate. If all of these criteria don't match, the program won't work at all and is useless.

  The description states than it is a trial ands limited to 3 files. It fails to mention that the files must be less than 10mb. I spend a lot of money on video software every year to stay current, and I will not purchase some thing that I can't try out on big files, quality and speed with big files is an important feature, and theres no way to tell if this program performes well or not. I can combine small files manually.

  First time using one of these, it's alright, but if you have Windows movie maker this software is useless.

  Didn't recognize the video file I was trying to join together/is only compatible with a limited number of video extentions.

  As many before me have discovered after downloading and installing that not only is the "trial" limited to 3 files, but 3 files of 10MB, which, with video files is so tiny, to say the least. I can't even FIND 3 video files under 10 MB on my system.

  Summary

  I don't care if Movie Joiner 4.0 is the most wonderful program ever written... when those selling it deliberately, by omitting CRITICAL information, mislead me in an attempt to coerce me into purchasing after I've gone to the trouble of downloading, installing and ATTEMPTING to try it, I JUST DON'T BUY THE PRODUCT. That goes for ANY program or product sold on a "try before you buy" basis. You don't get TWO chances to be dishonest with me and still profit from it. There are just too many alternatives available to be forced to deal with a company that, right from the outset, attempt to defraud me.

  Good and simple interface. Unfortunately the interface simplicity reflects the program's lack of features.

  Cannot handle files more than 10MB ! As long as you are joining small files, this utility works great (albeit slow) but if you need to join longer video clips or movies it won't work for you

  Summary

  This software converted three .wmv files into three .avi files but didn't join anything into one continuous clip. It stored them in a new folder (the three .avi clips) and not where I wanted them stored (My Documents). What's the point? I am about to give up hope of finding any useable video clip joiners at cnet.
