"Handy and stable software package"
Version: Movavi Video Suite 10
Pros
I think the previous reviewer had been paid by some competitors for his or her bad review because my impression after using Movavi Video Suite is that this is a great multimedia package for everyday usage. The best thing about it is that you don't need to install several different applications for each kind of multimedia operation, because Movavi Video Suite has all of them! Video conversion, simple video editor, DVD + Blu-ray burner, a screen recorder, etc. To put it shortly:
- Fast conversion, especially for those who have NVIDIA graphic cards
- Supports all known video formats
- Presets for many mobile devices.
- Screen capture with one click. Good quality of screen recording.
- Stable DVD burner. Burned dozens of CDs and DVDs - no spoiled discs so far.
- Webcam capturing, audio recording - used it to create my own podcast:)Cons
The navigation in some small applications which are included into the package is a bit difficult. For example, it took me long time to understand how to convert one video file to multiple formats in one go. Though, I figured it out: you should click Duplicate and choose another preset for the copies of the original file.
Summary
Definitely worth trying! No crushes, very fast performance during video conversion and editing (I have some experience with other programs to compare). Very good DVD burner saves me all the time - I was looking for such a burner for many months. If you watch movies, convert videos to different formats, burn them or save for your mobile device, try Movavi Video Suite. You'll spend less time on this stuff.

"My Advice: Stay Away!"
Version: Movavi Video Suite 10
Pros
Very few pros, if any. What look like good features and/or interfaces turn into frustration when they don't work, sometimes just lead you around in circles, even pointing you toward more Movavi software as a fix! (Cats eat rats, rats eat cats! We'll be rich!)
Cons
Name it! Crashes, non-functional features, kludges, corrupted data, random requests to re-activate, poor support, aggressive upgrade path (with de-activation of older versions) -- this software is a dog's breakfast of roadkill and insect parts. I've tried to make it work, I really have, from very, very early versions, mainly because I'm always looking for simple utilities to do small video chores without firing up Premiere. Forget it. It ain't with these guys! I'm packing it in, and will never, ever use, much less pay for, another Movavi product.
Summary
Gone, Baby, gone. Color me outta here. I've lost enough sleep trying to make this heap of broken subroutines work for even the simplest of video tasks. It's like a bad golf game -- just one good shot and you're back for more. Well, not me anymore. I've been burned by Movavi for the last time. I will never use any of their software again. You do what you want, but I'm still on the lookout for well-written code to do simple video chores. I wouldn't let Movavi even sort the names of my videos!
