Motor Racing Crashes

CNET Editors' review

by: CNET Staff on February 27, 2009

If you're the type who mainly watches car races for the carnage, you might not mind this screensaver's most glaring flaw. Motor Racing Crashes shows about 10 images of automotive-related destruction, including cars flipping and drivers engulfed in flames. Image quality though, is awful; most shots look old, grainy, and blurry. You won't hear any appropriate sound effects or music, but you can set the image delay and specify whether shots appear in random or sequential order. You will find a list of transition effects, but you only can use one at a time. While we always appreciate free screensavers, it's hard to overlook this one's obviously amateur photographs.
