  "On download McAfee Antivirus detected/removed a trojan!"

  Pros: Don't know.

  Cons: Downloaded a trojan.
  MoSo wanted me to restart my computer before I could use the software. I did not trust it, so I deleted it before using it. I thought that download.com said that it was spyware free?

  "Slow, several false positives, but decent and thorough"

  Pros: Very thorough, but often slow...does provide real time protection which is a plus.

  Cons: Often slow scans -- I have very big Hard drives and I would be long retired before it scanned them all -- so I had to set it for scanning C drive only.

  Summary: Worth trying, the real time components may slow the system at times, but if you do alot of downloads from the Internet, or share files, this is well worth the small delays for the real time protection it offers. I think it is priced reasonably, perf... read more

  "Decent anti malware"

  Pros: Very large malware database, which is updated daily with around 1,500 to 2,000 threats added every day.
  
  Trial version is fully functional for 40 days.

  Cons: Theere a few minor bugs which need to be fixed.
  Real time protection sometimes caus slow downs.
