Version: Mix-FX Flash Text Effects 1.04
"Rewarding for low-demanding designers, but..."
Summary: For whom this program is out there?Now,that's a question asked by everybody who saw it's slick, cool interface,and the following cutoffs:only 11 fonts, with no TTF import capability (actually, no import whatever is possible-be it bitmap, sound, another multimedia piece etc.),which have 21 effects of ,in my opinion, lesser visual dynamism than the background ones,a 25 of them.
These capabilities (?) plus the movie settings (color and dimension) are the core of capabilities of the prog, later of which have to be updated via special button. There is also a change in rotation of text and background effect apart from *swf format the movie may be saved as projector (*exe) or with *html.One link for every movie as well the frame rate can be designated.Only 128 Colors are changeable from drop-down menu,leastwise hex values may be entered manually.
This is definitely a text presentation-only (intro,banner-one is free to name it) builder,very easy to work with,but the lack of TTF and image(s) import,makes it a very diminutive one in terms of capabilities.
It is not a substitute for Firestarter or Swish.One may wish that the developers will utilize better import and shaping capabilities in the eventual future versions.
