Version: Miranda IM (Windows NT/2000/XP/Vista) 0.6.8
"The only chat client i've used that actually works with msn"
Pros: Nice clean simple interface but most of all it works with msn messenger! Many clients I have used have been excellent up to the point when you try and sign into msn then they either just don't connect, error or crash. Also it doesn't take up too much space and is easy to use.
Cons: It's not as many colors, emotes etc as others so if you like a lot of bling you may be disappointed.

Version: Miranda IM (Windows NT/2000/XP/Vista) 0.6.1
Pros: lightweight universal instant messeger than takes little resources and doesnt require addition downloads ((trillian with quicktime and gaim with gtk)).
Cons: the only con i have which might not bother a lot is that it has no sound for incoming messages. i know you can download plug-ins for it but frankly its not that simple to figure out how to get those plug-ins to work. because of miranda it has made me re-evaluate all other IMs and by comparison the others only deserve a max of 4 stars while this a 4 1/2.

Version: Miranda IM (Windows NT/2000/XP/Vista) 0.5
Pros: I love simplicity. And that's just what Miranda IM is, simplicity. Its a 1MB download, and still it supports ICQ, Jabber, AIM, MSN, Yahoo and IRC. So you don't have to download multiple clients. Another fantastic thing about it, is its loading time. It blazes, since its so small. The interface is quite clean. And you even have a number of add-on's to increase its functionality.
Cons: It does not have built in smiley's but that can be done using a simple add-on. The only real drawback it has is its inability to support multiple IRC server sessions.

Version: Miranda IM (Windows NT/2000/XP/Vista) 0.5.1
Pros: Multi-protocol (AIM, MSN, ICQ, Yahoo, Jabber...), highly customizable, many plugins available, uses little resources, & FREE.
Cons: The program has many options to go through. If you're picky like me, you'll probably spend a good amount of time customizing. But in the end, I get a good-looking & great to use product. It's all worth it.
