"IT LOADED "OTHER USER" BOOT VIRUS! BEWARE MALWARE"

    June 27, 2012  |   By CNETTERCNETTER

    Pros

    Free price.
Easy to partition new Hard Drive.
Good GUI interface, very intuitive to use it. Huge icons on top vertical menu

    Cons

It (* apparently *) loaded a dangerous virus, the "Other User" virus that prohibits booting up. Google "Other User" and you will see many instances of this threat. It is malware that takes over your PC and delivers content to hacker. We are certain it came from this application beause that was the only download and only non-normal everyday site (we use only LA Times, NY Times, CNN.com, Netflix every day and no strange sites and no email attachments, ever). Right after the partitioning and copying our laptop's C and D partitions to a new 2 Terrabyte external HD, the laptop crashed and then only displays the pseudo-Windows (Vista) boot up screen, with an oversized icon labeled "OTHER USER" which will NOT allow entry of any username or password. It returns message: "Domain inunkown" and "Cannot connect" -- Beware!

We assumed CNET / Download.com has checked all these. Even our Norton 360 which is alway "on" did not detect or stop it!

    Summary

Nice appearance to this free application but beware of its malware hidden inside that crashed your PC and will not allow log in. You have to re-configure BIOS multiple times and it still persists. Major trouble!
