Went from 11.3 kbs before install to 9.5 kbs after. To all of you cable and dsl users that may not seem like a lot but to us lowly 56k users that is a major hit!

Summary
I just spent 4 hours uninstalling and rebooting windows tring to get rid of this program. It kept up locking up internet explorer and slowed my computer to a snail crawl.
Do NOT DOWNLOAD..... It is not a program to be messsed with. If you want a faster download and connection get DSL or Broadband or cable. This is one of the worst programs I ever had. Use at your own risk....Boy I hope I dont get deleted..... -

This is to let AOL users know that if you are using a 56K dail up connection on AOL this or any other speed up program may not work for you. ..NOT to say it won't work, but more likely it will not improve you download speed. Good luck all!

I am no pro, but I have been downloading all morning, no programs made a difference until I got this one. All downloads were falling to 2.5kbps until I put this on, they then stayed at 5.0 kbps or better. try it, if it desnt work for you, just uninstall it, no guts, no glory......

Infatuated Balmy was right, Mini Speed goes backwards, my normal speed is 56k and the minute I installed Mini Speed, it went all the way down to 11k! How terrible is that? The new Mini Speed 3.0 is 100% rubbish no doubt, I recommend you guys not to use this, it's not worth it.

I downloaded, and did a speed test. It came out to about 40, then I did it again running Mini Speed, and it was about 39.5. I thought it was suppose to speed it up. I still connceted at 56, and my download time was the same. So I really do think this is some kind of spyware, because when I ran my ad-ware clean up software, it found Mini Speed every place it could get. So I really wouldn't download it, unless you want to keep guessing if your speed is faster, and you like spyware.
