    "Not a "free" download"

    May 20, 2012  |   By angela466

After going through the time to download this and say "no" to all of the extra stuff they are trying to sell to me, I find out that it simply takes me to the publisher's site where I'm required to create an account. I had an account already and was playing the beta version for free already, so this was a waste of time. Also, when I tried to use this account during the download process it told me I had to buy the newer game version and have a "premium" account. If you want to just "try the game out" before buying it, then go straight to the minecraft website. That way you skip all of the sales junk.

A waste of time. You have to create an account and purchase the game!

If you want the pc demo you can go straight to the minecraft site without any gimmicks or sales tricks.
