"The game is great. Very cool"

    March 21, 2014  |   By gabrielcarabott10

    Version: Minecraft 1.7.5

    Pros

    Great graphics
    Has Multiplayer
    Has a lot of modes

    Cons

    Need to buy
Mods are extra hard to download
With that money, you could buy a better game

    Summary

Over all, the game is wonderful, but like everything, it has pros and cons.

Two things that could be improved:
    1. Could be made free
    2. Mods could be made easier to use (no need to use Forge!!!)

    Great game, still!

"Very good at what it does; brings out the kid in you!"

    February 23, 2014  |   By Tinnako

    Version: Minecraft 1.7.4

    Pros

    - simple gameplay means that it's not hard to learn how to play.
    - can appeal equally to 8 year old children and grown adults.
    - you can go in 'survival' mode and eke out scarce resources and battle with 'mobs' (i.e. monsters) and struggle to farm animals and crops, or you can use 'creative mode' and simply enjoy building huge palaces for the sheer joy of it.
    - many possible world seeds, so each world can look quite different from the last one.
    - PC version supports a decent multiplayer mode, and the community is pleasant and enjoyable and offers various ways of making gameplay more interesting.

    Cons

    - The simple, cuboid graphics won't be to everyone's taste.
    - there's no 'winning', for the most part, it really is all about the taking part.
    - can take up all your time.

    Summary

There's a 'pocket' version for tablets, phones, etc, which is also excellent. The pocket version maintains much of the functionality of the PC version, but is simplified to suit the hardware and actually feels more intuitive to use. Not all features are available on the pocket version, but it is still excellent. Multiplayer is not quite supported on pocket edition, but you can join via wireless to friends' devices and share worlds.

"Simple and Complicated at the same time, Extremely Fun"

    December 3, 2013  |   By ElectroBlade

    Version: Minecraft 1.7.2

    Pros

You can create anything you can think of.
    There are no standard limits.
It is a Open world Sandbox game.
The default audio and graphics may be unappealing to some, but you can get free resource packs, that include new sounds and textures.
It has a multi-player mode, as well as single player.

    Cons

The new amplified world generator requires a computer with plenty of memory.
This download is free, but the game it self is a paid game, however there is a demo.

    "Client, No game"

    September 12, 2013  |   By aytimothy

    Version: Minecraft 1.6.2

    Pros

    - Great Game
    - Addictive fun
    - Adventures await
    - Endless creations

    Cons

    - Purchase required
    - I don't own an account
    - Can only play demo with free account

    Summary

This download only contains the client, which is required to play the game (accompanied with an account that has been activated as "Premium").

Note: The game itself, I'll rate as 5/5, but this download is 0.5/5, since I can't rate it 0/5

    Updated on Sep 12, 2013

(This is an edit of the entire summary)
    ===============================================
This download only contains the client, which is required to play the game (accompanied with an account that has been activated as "Premium").

All it does is ask you to register and try the demo... It doesn't let me play the full game YET it says "free" as the price.. (It's actually 20 pounds..... or was that euro?)

Note: The game itself, I'll rate as 5/5, but this download is 0.5/5, since I can't rate it 0/5, and I kinda already own it.

"If you don't know what game to play, try this."

    August 18, 2013  |   By BlitzWithGuns

    Version: Minecraft 1.6.2

    Pros

A lot of blocks and circuitry to use.
Infinite possibilities. You can do whatever you want.
Ability to play alone and conquer the world or play with friends and build together.

    Cons

Lack of tutorials at the start of the game. New players have to get help from guides to play properly.

    Summary

My gaming life was very different before this game was introduced to me. It used to be always the same online games.
A must have for people who want to try something new.
