Version: Midnight Mansion 1.0.1
Pros: My girls, 8 and 7 and a girl cousin, 13 really likes all about this game. It's a little bit scary. It's a little bit difficult. It's big fun and they seems to continue to like it.
Cons: One of my girls asked why you couldn't choose to play as a girl instead of being Jack. Good question.

Version: Midnight Mansion 1.1.2
Pros: I reviewed an earlier version, and the game continues to satisfy. There are multiple levels so kids to adults can play and have fun. The custom mansions provide a wide array of additional game options; some of them are very creatively built!
Cons: The challenging and addictive gameplay can lead me to spend more time on the game than originally intended. ;-)

"One of the best games I ever bought for my family!"
Pros: We tried the game before purchasing and fell in love with the selectable levels of gameplay. Our 6- and 8-yr olds both love the challenge of the game. As parents, we like the fact that it is kid-friendly, is relatively self-paced, presents a challenge to kids without totally frustrating them, and there are options to save/ pause the game at nearly any time (dinner, homework, piano practice, etc.) without having to start completely over.
The main set of mansions provides plenty of challenge, entertainment, and satisfaction; the additional uploaded custom mansions are also very impressive in their variety and attention to detail. I am looking forward to the pending Expansion Pack!
Software updates are delivered promptly after confirming and resolving issues. When asking direct questions to the author or user forum, replies seem to be prompt, courteous, and helpful. The forum is also family-friendly.
Overall, a great value for players from grade-school to grad-school!
Cons: I would like to see more flexibility for suspended games, especially in a multi-user environment. Perhaps add support as well for a single user to suspend multiple games.
